"I must say that now I am hooked on Lindsay McKenna's books. This is my fifth book on the Morgan Mercenaries series and I am captivated by how real her characters are. Her descriptions of the characters in the story as well as their surroundings are so vivid that you feel that you are part of the story plot. In addition, as someone who has been and still is around people who suffer from PTSD, I find that the author gets to the root of what those individuals have to live with and what they need to survive their daily lives...love and understanding!Once I begin reading each of her books I can't put them down till I get to the last page. When I do that, I am filled with mixed emotions because there is always a happy ending and, yet, I am sad because I have reached the end of the book. Well...that's when I pick up the next one where the saga continues with some of the same characters of the original story I read. Can't wait to read her other books...
I highly recommend this author!

Another great novel filled with suspense and romance. This novel is set in the mountains,where the miner and ranger meet. The suspense begins and continues right to the end. A must read.
This book about Wolf Harding, a mercenary who had hit rock bottom, finding a reason to live and live again in the wilds of Montana, was a good read.
AN OUTSTANDING WRITER AND BOOK.
Good plot for Wolf and Sarah but frustrating to have such a corrupted town and no one went on to County Sheriff or State Patrol. How about Forrest service? They were on State and National land where they have more jurisdiction.
I always give ratings to the books that I love (high) if I like it that's what I rate. Wolf and Sarah are both damaged but find each other and learn to love again.
Lindsay McKenna is a wonderful story teller! I had read her Delos series, and decided that I needed to read some more of her stories. So I started at the beginning of her Morgan's Mercenaries series. I can completely recommend her writing to all of you.
Good book to read if you like McKenna's series which I love, then read the rest. You won't be disappointed.
